“Sizzling, Sassy, Spring” Event Debuts Crystal Fusion Glassware

The design work of Ella Chabot (Shot By Ella, LLC) and the engraving skill of Connie Spicer (Spice of Life Studio) debuted at Cork, Tapas and Dessert Bar in Vero Beach. Cork and Tapas is owned and operated by Chef David Rodriguez, long-time Vero restaurateur.

The glass designs featured such images as the “Blue Butterfly”, “Conch Shell”, “Sea Trilogy” and “Sand Dollar”, the nights’ biggest seller and are engraved on an assortment of stemware, including wine, margarita and martini glasses, and are expected to include shot glasses and more in coming months.

The show was held to benefit Growing Healthy Kids charity, founded by local author Nancy Heinrich. Nancy teaches children the essentials of eating and cooking “real” healthy foods to try to encourage kids to eat properly and avoid health issues over time caused by the epidemic of obesity.

Other sponsors included Pamela Bennett of Lips By Pam, a SeneGence International user and nationally recognized makeup artist, and Barbara Petrillo, designer of the Petrillo Collection of jewelry.

In addition to the participating sponsors, the event was provided entertainment by CN Starz Entertainment DJ David Spicer.
